From an estate that I am helping with. All items from the estate were put into storage in the early 1960's and were only recently available. This statue is in excellent condition with the exception of a flaw in the carving of the bottom edge of the back. The statue measures 4-1/2" wide and is 4-1/2" tall from top to bottom. It has a large vase shape that I believe is a brush bowl. The underside has the following message from the last owner: "From George J. Remsburg May 1921 (CNN). Said to be from Egypt but is Chinese I am quite sure." So I do not know the actual age of the statue - but assume it is circa 1900. It has a good weight to it.
