    Description

    This is a DV / MiniDV Player / Recorder / Editor.  It accepts full size DV and MiniDV tapes for playback and recording, including insert recording.  Input or output via Composite, S-Video and Firewire connections.  Firewire cable is included as well as a handheld remote.  Unit turns on and the tray ejects as it should.  No tape has been run through it for several years, and it's last mission was to transfer DV tapes to computer files. I kept it around in case I found any more tapes to transfer, but have decided I won't ever need it again. Still a solid unit if you're looking for something to play DV/MiniDV tapes.  Built like a tank.  Shuttle dial seems to have a slightly sticky feel to it, but I think that's because of age and breakdown of the plastic/rubber material.  It works just fine.
    No manual (I can't seem to find it) but manuals are usually found on-line or at Panasonic's web site.
