cosmetic and working condition.
Upon inspection of the device, I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use.
All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition.
The control panel has a hard time coming out or going back in sometimes. If the control panel does not come out when the button is pushed then I found that when the flaps on the sides are down you can nudge the tray to come out with manually and it will come all the way out. If the tray will not go back in all the way I found that either pushing the button a few times after it attempts to retract will eventually correct itself or it can simply be pushed back in.
There are some heavy scratches and scuffs on the top and sides of the device.
There are some scratches on the display.
I was able to power on the device with a standard power cord.
Remote control/IR sensor tested to be working using an in-house universal programmable remote control (not included).
DV/MiniDV playback tested to be working using an in-house DV and MiniDV tape and an in-house monitor (not included).
DV/MiniDV recording tested to be working using an in-house camera and an in-house blank DV/MiniDV (not included).
Video input and output tested to be working using an in-house camera connected via RCA yellow and Svideo, output tested working using an in-house monitor connected via RCA yellow and Svideo (not included).
All inputs and outputs are tested working with a clean video feed.
Audio input tested to be working using an in-house media player (not included) connected via 1/8" to RCA as well as aux.
All inputs (Mic, and Line in) are tested working with a crisp and clean sound.
Audio output tested to be working using an in-house powered speaker (not included) connected via Aux and RCA.
All outputs (Line out 1 and 2, Phones) are tested working with a crisp and clean sound.
Jog wheel, Shuttle wheel, Audio mix balance, Rec balance, Rec level, Phones level knobs all tested working.
Power, Eject, Select, Reset, Rec, Rew, FFwd, Play, Stop, Pause, Menu, Execute, Cursor up down left right, Input select, One pgm play, main/sub, data code, display, select, reset, search select, Skip left and right, Rec (panel), Video, Stereo1, Stereo2, Duplicate, Edit standby, Assemble, Start/pause, Event back and fwd, Mark, (the following are all panel buttons) play, stop, pause, player recorder buttons all tested working.
External timer, One PGM Play trigger, Function lock, Control S, Lanc, DV in are all untested.
Product is in working condition.
