Sony PDW – F355 XDCAM , Fujinon XS13 x 3.3 BRM ½” High Definition Wide Angle Lens for XDCam, Battery, and Carrying bag.
This camera is highly flexible and functional. It would be a great parts camera or with a little tender loving care to the camera and lens, would make a great production tool. The camera offers flexible recording functions including a choice of video frame rates, interlace or progressive modes, recording data rates and both HD and SD formats. The camera features MPEG HD and DVCAM switchable recording with three ½-inch HD CCDs. It is capable of recording 1080 video lines of multiple frame rates at a high bit rate of 35 Mbps. It also provides four channels of high-quality uncompressed audio. This allows an SD to HD migration path to a complete HD-based environment.
This was our main camera for several years and has 2,878 operation hours of run time. The imager has a pixel missing in the upper right hand quadrant. You will see a small white spot if you shoot over a black background. Very hard to see but you can find it if you look hard enough. The battery connection on the back of camera is also a little shaky if moved by the battery pack.
The Fujinon Lens is a high quality 13 x ½” wide - angle lens designed to be used with the XDCAM HD line of Sony cameras.  Known for their high build quality and precision optics, Fujinon lens has become the industry standard for professional video applications all over the world. The focal – length range is 3.3 to 43mm with a minimum object distance of 0.3 meters or about 1 foot.
We have been experiencing some back focus issues with the lens but it is fixable.
